Think BIG, Start SMALL

Think BIG, Start SMALL

Think BIG, Start SMALL.  Is it?  OR should we Start Big based on the argument that our very first step should be as wide as that one quantum leap so we can secure a beachhead ahead of the real grind.  Experts peddled the six words that will matter and differentiate SUCCESS versus FAILURE with the slogan THINK BIG, START SMALL, LEARN FAST, six short and sharp words to kick us upπŸ“˜πŸ“™πŸ“—

C'mon dude, let's NOT reinvent the wheel.  Those WHO 'THINK BIG' consider the full range of possible futures and outcomes.  They make sure they understand the emerging context, rather than assume that their current assumptions are right.  A simple example is how large disruptive forces [like technology] will change our personal preferences?  Let's look no farther than NETFLIX.  When Reed Hastings built the DVD business that toppled the video rental business, he had that BIG IDEA that mailing people DVDs was a mere way station on the road to streaming video on the internet.  Then, NETFLIX was bornπŸ’·πŸ’΄πŸ’΅

Contrast that to those who FAIL typically think SMALL.  They assume the future will be a slightly different version of the present.  Its human nature to see change as INCREMENTAL and to think that things will continue to run in our favor.  BUT let's be wary how INCREMENTAL thinking can be dangerous as well.  BTW, where are NOKIA, MOTOROLA and BLACKBERRY now❓❓❓
The biggest problem  with every IDEA is that we inaccurately think of the final effect as the result of a single action.  We're in the current position so we need to do something and in the result we achieve our desired goal,  True, our goal is usually BIG so we tend to change plans and refine things, looking for perfection when we DON'T even know WHAT it means and HOW it looksπŸ’ŽπŸ’ŽπŸ’Ž
Shift things to our personal life.  It's nice to be overly ambitious BUT not at the expense of getting bogged down to even take STEP #1 because you are so enamored with your grandiose plans and vision.  Instead, let's take the INCREMENTAL approach in parallel with THINKING BIG, STARTING SMALL✅✅✅
