WHY DO WINNERS QUIT MORE THAN LOSERS? Yes, I did a fact check and that's very true. BUT before I get whacked, we DON'T mean that WINNERS QUIT the way LOSERS QUIT because multiple studies showed that WHILE quitting is happening to both WINNERS and LOSERS, there's a huge gap in that analogy because WHILE WINNERS do quit, they quit after they have WON and succeeded. WHEREAS more often than not, LOSERS tend to quit anywhere within that stretch way before he achieves the end point of achieving and succeeding. And WHY do they quit? Generally, WHEN frustration kicks in, that's when the slopes going uphill become way too steep, with the quitter almost feeling that he's running with an almost empty tank of fuel💚💛💜
The long and short of it is that WINNERS are simply LOSERS WHO [more often than not] decide NOT to quit at all even WHEN the cards are stacked against him/her. A very good source of these analogies is the topsy-turvy world of NBA basketball where out of the 30 ballclubs, there are seasons WHEN the losing streak of a ballclub somehow influences the directions coming from its 'front office'. Without naming names, for some ballclubs WHOSE losses run unabated, some of them WOULD strategize to go TANKING, i.e. letting those streak of losses happen as they may with the end view that in the next annual NBA Draft, they could go up the totem pole to pick up upcoming blue-chip rookies💧💧💧
Much as we DON'T want to mention NBA ballclubs WHO tend to go 'TANKING' when they sort of finally give up any flickering hopes for the existing season, there are a few ballclubs WHERE TANKING is a NO-NO regardless if they go through harrowing losing streaks and one of those very few ballclubs is the Miami Heat. Truth of the matter, by default, we are all NOT LOSERS at all. NOT until we quit trying, giving up in our pursuit💥💥💥
I vividly remember some of my toughest ordeals in the NOT so distant past WHERE I was losing and failing, all piling up in that dreaded streak WHICH impacts us from whatever perspective we look at things. At one point WHERE I was seriously contemplating to quit, I asked myself:
WILL QUITTING HELP ME BOUNCE BACK?
WILL QUITTING INCREASE MY CHANCES?
Our takeaway: WHILE there are tons and tons of ways for us to quit, the worst kind to opt for is QUIET QUITTING as it can come in many forms and shapes. LIKE you continue to keep chugging LIKE that locomotive train BUT you're simply going through the motions and waiting WHEN the rail tracks get derailed to give you a legitimate reason to quit. BUT that's being deceptive to yourself, dude😡😡😡
