Time to Roll the Dice

Time to Roll the Dice.

Life is life. Handholding is only up to so much. Coaching can continue to happen only so much. Mentoring is within your reach only up to some point in your life-long journey.

Risks keep popping up every step of your way. Pitfalls are scattered across like land mines, ready to blow up once you step on it. But there are multifarious roads for you to succeed. All it takes is for you to ROLL THE DICE. All along, we kept claiming that you'll cross the bridge when you get there. Once you're there, you just got to role the dice, no IFs, no BUTS.

If fear continues to hover on you and if self-doubt continues to prevail on you, sorry folks, you can’t walk the talk. You can’t roll the dice either. Neither can you cross the bridge.

What does it take for one to have that gumption and courage to move forward? Look for that slither of light and once that glimmer of light streaks, seize that moment and run through that slightest opening, regardless if that slightest opening is a cracked door. To quote Mark Strand, the American-Canadian Poet, ‘each moment is a place you’ve never been’. That is the long and short of it. Seize the moment.

That old cliché ‘no guts no glory’ may sound so old-school but it is as relevant as it is now. You don’t think you deserve to lose by default, do you? What matters is NOW. Leave yesterday behind and don’t even be bother what happens tomorrow.
