We’re in for the ‘long haul’. We need you to be ‘locked in’. You could be at the tipping point now after barely surviving all the trials and tribulations in life. But, over and over again, everyone is begging us, please DON’T GIVE UP, all is not lost. Your tank might be low on fuel now but it’s not an empty tank yet anyway.

As the NBA cliché goes, the start doesn’t matter. Instead, what matters most is the way you close it, the way you finish it. Your spirit may be flagging but you gotta buttress it with your ‘last hurrah’ ounces of adrenalin. Remember, you’re not going to hit a homerun most of the time. In fact and in truth, you might hit a homerun very few times in your life but that’s fine. You’ll be fine. And in the middle of these travails, do grab a pop corn and take a respite.

Swag and confidence need to be re-injected back in your life. You need all the boosters possible before you get your second wind, your new lease of life. For now, things are going uphill but hell no, you’re better off with that uphill climb instead of running downhill if you are in a tailspin because you might end down in those deep ravines.

You might be counselled to draw from your past experiences. That’s a Catch-22 thing because in life, there are one too many moving parts, just one too many variables. Those variables when you failed may not be relevant now because the rules of the game may have changed or worst, the goalpost has been moved. But moving that goalpost should not dampen you. Things change. Circumstances change. Variables get altered. Instead, look at the moved goalpost as a refresh start for you.

At the end of the day, dream BIG, start SMALL and learn FAST.
