Risk and Success Are Like SIAMESE TWINS

There's this challenging question that may cause one to freeze:  IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, WHO WILL?  Indeed, this is a question many of us will be hard pressed to answer.  Indeed, this quote reminds us that believing in ourselves is the first and most important step toward doing anything meaningful.  Because if ever we do doubt our own strength, talent OR capability, there is very high likelihood that we will end up more likely to hold ourselves back before anyone else does.  Confidence is NOT about being perfect OR immune from failures.  BUT instead, it's all about trusting that we can learn, grow, improve and progress in our journey.  WHEN we believe in our very own potential, it is highly likely that we will be able to unlock that courage to try new things and even aim higher than we used to set our eyes ahead.  Very much akin to planting a seed, nothing grows IF we DON'T water it with our belief

There are zillions of real-life examples surely we have witnessed first hand.  LIKE a young girl WHO dreams of becoming a scientist BUT she comes from a far-flung small village WHERE no one has done that before.  BUT IF she listens to others WHO would say that it's impossible, very likely she might [easily] give up.  BUT IF she believes in her dream and works hard at school and studies, and even burning the midnight oil for that, she will be her own catalyst to give her own self that legitimate fighting chance to succeed.  WHO knows one day she will become a scientist and even inspire her other villagers/neighbors to believe in their own dreams as well

It is verily true that taking risks is damn scary.  I can attest to that during those years WHEN I decided to take that quantum leap.  Right at the airport departure area, I was asking myself "WHAT'S IN STORE FOR ME"?  WHAT's the potential I can attain?  WHAT's my realistic goals in that respect?  YES YES yow, even small, tiny, whiny steps taken with belief can lead to huge successes.  So, WHEN you feel unsure, we got to stick to our dreams

True, there are multitudes out there either observing HOW we will fare in our endeavors [BTW, ignore those kibitzers whose purpose is to monitor till you fall flat on your face].  Here's a NOT so giveaway question:  IS IT OK NOT TO AIM HIGH AND JUST LIVE A SIMPLE LIFE?  But of course that's fine BUT that is akin aiming for the tree-top and IF you fail [knock on wood], you will fall on the ground.  WHAT matters most is your approach should be 'HIGH ENOUGH' to be challenging

Our takeawayNOT to reinvent the wheels, so allow me to share these tips straight from lifehack.org:

  • DEVELOP SMALL MICRO HABITS - BIG TIME goals are fine but starting off with 'BIG BANG' goals could stall you up front
  • EXECUTE YOUR DAILY TASKS - Never forget you are NOT the pilot of an aircraft with that 'AUTO PILOT' mode option
  • TRACK YOUR PROGRESS - Oooooops, NOT just your progress BUT please do track even your non-progress, if ever
  • SUSTAIN YOUR SELF-IMPROVEMENT - True, you can sleep, take breaks and go on holidays BUT never stop in sustaining your SELF-IMPROVEMENTS every step of the way
This explains WHY RISKS & SUCCESS are like Siamese Twins!!!

When Do We Go in 'FLIGHT' OR 'FIGHT' Mode?

YES dude, that four-letter word spelled F-E-A-R is one of the most maligned, IF NOT dreaded word.  BUT WHYWHAT has it got to do with our daily life?  A lot though and often times, it is impactful.  True, FEAR is often seen as a negative emotion BUT FEAR serves us a very real positive purpose, albeit NOT so obvious on the surface.  As human beings, we're wired to be FEARFUL because it saves us in those dangerous and perilous situations.  I remember reading those caveman stories, if we rounded the corner and saw a sabre-tooth tiger, obviously and instantly, our brain would recognize and sense danger and then, our FEAR response will, by default, get activated.  So, WHEN DO WE GO INTO A 'FLIGHT' OR FIGHT MODE???

By then, our bodies would get flooded, in spike mode, with adrenaline, WHICH WOULD then enable us to run faster than we've ever ran OR stand and fight with more strength than we've ever had.  Then, once we escaped that looming danger, our bodies would return to its normal state and we'll then feel an enormous drain, OR that adrenaline dump, sitting in the safety of our caves, our refuge.  Thankfully, these days we DON'T have anymore those sabre-tooth tiger roaming our Planet Earth💥💥💥

BTW, psychologists are alerting us that our brains simply CAN'T distinguish between WHAT'S 'real' thought OR a 'false' thought.  Instead, our brain simply activates that FEAR switch within us depending n WHAT stimuli we provide it.  BUT just like the coin, we have choices, and that's either the TRUTH OR FEAR itself.  Most of the time, our responses to thoughts are based on those false premises OR beliefs we have😡😡😡

In simpler words, to translate this in its simplest form, the story that we seem to tell our own selves about something can dictate WHETHER we feel FEAR OR NOT.  Studies proved that almost all FEARS are based on false premises.  So, WHEN we seem to think about growth, anything pushing against our beliefs is going to feel uncomfortable before there's an ease to it.  Indeed, to overcome FEAR is really about expanding our own comfort zone WHICH explains as to WHY we need to 'level up' as we grow.  So, HOW much do we challenge ourselves to explore outside of our comfort zone?  I'm afraid it is a less than a plurality and likely more of a minority amongst us.  So, HOW often do we face a challenge and then fold because we FEAR judgment OR FEAR NOT being NOT enough to overcome it???

Our takeaway:  I am NO expert in this feel BUT my strong take is that fundamentally, every FEAR we have is based on our respective personality types.  We all have personality-based triggers that, even without our consciousness OR awareness, will tend to govern OR influence every move we make, and NOT always in a way that will get us WHAT we truly want.  WHEN we understand WHAT our underlying FEAR is, experts assure us that it will help us to evolve and grow way beyond it.  True, it may sound cryptic BUT the stark truth is that understanding WHO we are and WHY we do WHAT we do can trigger massive advantages to us.  One unknown author was widely quoted:  FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY'.  So, WHEN DO WE GO IN 'FLIGHT' OR 'FIGHT' mode dude???

Know Your Craft!

Allow me to share this Quora.com post by Rebecca:  A priest offered a nun a ride.  As she got into the car, she adjusted her habit, revealing a part of her leg.  The priest, startled, almost lost control of the car.  After regaining control, he discreetly allowed his hand to creep up her leg.  The nun gently reminded him:  FATHER, REMEMBER PSALM 129".  Embarrassed, the priest pulled his hand away.  BUT as he shifted gear, his hand wandered AGAIN.  The nun repeated:  FATHER, DON'T FORGET PSALM 147.  The priest apologized, "I'M SORRY SISTER, THE TEMPTATION IS STRONG".  When he reached back to church, he checked PSALM 147 and it says "CONTINUE YOUR SEARCH, FOR FURTHER UP, TRUE REWARDS AWAIT".  That's WHY, you must Know Your Craft📗📙📘

WHAT's the moral of the story?  YES dude, KNOW YOUR CRAFT.  Even at the workplace, that is imperative to KNOW YOUR CRAFT.  Try leading a team WHERE your core knowledge is significantly less than WHAT your team has.  Even within the short-term, you will be hard pressed to gain their TRUST [and eventually respect].  And by not KNOWING YOUR CRAFT, as this story about the priest tells us, YES you will likely miss out on opportunities, BIG TIME!@#$%? At the workplace, things could initially become sticky if you just came in straight from the cold.  And this is WHERE your transitioning comes into play.  BUT that transition phase will be short.  WHAT will become a materially important variable in your equation is your EQ, your ability to interact and engage with others💧💧💧
And this is WHERE your NEVER GIVE UP mindset should come into play.  Because if you're the newest member in a team, your capabilities and competencies is only one half of the equation as internal processes will be materially knew to you.  Hitting the wall over and over again is something you need to anticipate.  I went through that wringer a zillion times each time I got onboarded in a new organization.  And WHAT makes things murkier is WHEN your job role requires engaging and interacting with clients and third-parties💥💥💥

You might ask, WHAT happens if your learning curve to LEARN YOUR CRAFT in that new organization takes longer than WHAT is the median?  Dude, I can guarantee you that you'll be sailing through 'rough seas' much longer and that does NOT augur well for you because that means, those pent up pressures will spike more frequently than WHAT is normal.  This is a common narrative if you hear someone WHO recently onboarded but suddenly offboards OR gets offboarded❎❎❎

Our takeawayBTW, to KNOW YOUR CRAFT is just one side of the coins.  Never forget the other side, those inter-personals, your engagements with your new team.  I remember WHEN I was a 'road warrior' based out of India [criss-crossing Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad], outside and beyond work, I was with my Indian teams enjoying Indian food [and even drinks].  The only time I had to part ways with them was WHEN they were about to watch Hindi movies @cinema.  So, just like what the priest said, YES, KNOW YOUR CRAFT!!!

Doing HARD Things To Want An EASY Life

The messaging from this poster seems to have been splashed across the walls [including digitally] for the past centuries BUT frankly, it is as relevant it is today as it was then.  Of course, there are outliers to this messaging.  Like IF you're driving from Point A to Point B and the normal route will let you go through a terrible traffic gridlock, WHY take that route?  BUT other than that analogy, even in the business world of the Trumps, Bezos, Gates, they will push their scions [born with silver spoons on their mouth] from the frying pan straight into the fire.  BUT let's NOT get into that narrative.  Instead, let's dissect as to WHY IF YOU WANT AN EASY LIFE, DO HARD THINGS. IF YOU WANT A HARD LIFE, DO EASY THINGS📗📙📘

IF we listen around, including the tons of Life Coaches, building a right-sized and purposeful life really requires from us to do HARD THINGS.  Living aligned to our very own values and especially our top priorities in every season involves really going through the gauntlet and do those HARD THINGS.  UNLESS we want to spend our lives in hiding, mired in fear or numbed out, it's plainly obvious that we need to learn to show up afraid and move toward discomfort and practice doing things that feel HARD.  There are many iterations here LIKE starting our family, OR simply heading into an empty nest, putting life back together after a major loss OR pain❎❎❎

Many years back, I [wrongly] thought that IF I could build a life that was slow enough, that I could live in a 'bubble' and avoid pain, suffering OR risks.  BUT of course, in due time, I realized I was many miles wrong enough as besides seeing people dying, life was still messy and instead of healing and living fully, I was like hiding.  YES, this is real life indeed and one key realization I had was that very rarely does life end with a neat, orderly bow. If at all, those are outliers.  Instead, in real real life, life is messy, complex and often deeply challenging that will push you to go through your litmus test, like it OR not.  BUT if I can give you a glimmer of hope, life is beautiful and worth living, especially once your successes, even those mini-mini-goals, start to come into fruition, unravelling all the efforts and time you invested in keeping you in tow, in track💚💛💜

YES dude, IF we're going to show up fully to our imperfect [and YES, beautiful] lives with that purposeful mindset, we've got one best option on our plate serving and that is, to do things the HARD WAY no less.  In real terms though, I have somehow mastered, within my modest ways, in igniting myself from the time I wake up [UNLESS I'm feeling under the weather].  Mondays, I'm excited coming from a restful weekend.  Fridays are a giveaway because of TGIF.  In short, I'm glued at the three mid-weekdays and I always remind myself, NOT bad kissing my hard ass during those days.  After all, it's BUT fair that we work eight hours for the eight hours we get paid [UNLESS you're an entrepreneur]💧💧💧

Our takeaway:  Let's NOT be falsely led by the grossly wrong notion that life will be easy?!@#$%&  I'm sure NOT even our doting parents said that.  Factually, life SHOULDN'T be easier at all.  Life simply is.  It is an unwieldy and messy tangle of sorrow and beauty bundled into one, with incredible joy to let go.  Staying stuck in [falsely] wanting life to be easier will surely rob us of joy instead of expending energy building a more hopeful tomorrow.  YES YES yowwww, we all want an EASY life BUT hold on dude.  Before we go partying in an EASY life, let's plunge and embrace doing all those HARD things because it is our own selves WHO need to pave the road forward😊😊😊

Why LESS Is MORE[And How Can MORE Be Less?]!

Is MORE really MORE?  OR Is it true that LESS IS MORE?  Unfortunately, as this poster of dogs tell us, HUMANS ALWAYS WANT MORE.  As the Singaporeans say it, 'YEA LAH!'  BUT NOT because humans are greedy BUT as the psychologists concluded from their researches, we have that natural tendency to compare our own self with others.  WHETHER that's material possession, knowledge, power OR experiences, we always have that innate drive within us that pushes us to seek and strive for greater things constantly.  BUT finding the balance and contentment is HOW we can find a greater sense of contentment and fulfillment in life.  Why LESS Is MORE[And How Can MORE Be Less?]📗📙📘
Experts tell us that if there is one thing we humans did inherit throughout our evolution, it is our survival-oriented drive to secure resources.  Tracing back to our ancestors, we did face numerous challenges in our respective environments and apparently, those WHO possessed a strong desire for more were likely to succeed in acquiring the necessary means for survival.  Very true, this evolutionary impetus has been passed down through generations, ingraining a deep-seated motivation to seek MORE and MORE💥💥💥
WHAT makes things colorful [I'll call it challenging] is the role of social comparisons.  As we humans are inherently 'social creatures', our desire for MORE and MORE is more often shaped by our social context as we have that natural tendency to compare ourselves to others and that comparison can then fuel our desire for MORE and MORE.  In this world WHERE material possessions and social status are often equated with success and happiness, we constantly strive to keep up with the Joneses!!!
That endless pressures to meet societal expectations and avoid feeling left behind intensifies our pursuit for more.  WHAT cause me to react with a wide eye was a conclusion by experts is that intriguing aspect of human psychology with regard our ability to adapt to new circumstances and experiences.  And WHILE this adaptability has been crucial for our survival, it leads to our insatiable desires for MORE and MORE, ouchhh❌❌❌
Our takeaway:  I always believe that all these should boil down for us to strike the acceptable balance and contentment.  And WHILE our innate drive for MORE has undoubtedly fueled progress in our lives, finding that balance between ambition and contentment is essential.  SO HOW?  Can we cultivate our gratitude? And practice mindfulness?  And define our values?  And set our realistic goals for us to practice that hard-earned self-compassion and if we can limit our exposure to consumerist influence, we can be back to that 'ROAD OF REDEMPTION' so that it becomes conclusive that LESS IS MORE indeed💚💛💜

Bonne Chance Versus Bon Courage

I only know pidgin French [no thanks to the four French subjects I took in college, which subjects I sadly admit I DIDN'T perform well enough, ughhh].  I'm sorry though BUT that's NOT our thread today because we'd like to clear things out between BONNE CHANCE [which in French means GOOD LUCK] versus BON COURAGE [which means GOOD COURAGE] and although there is some similarity with BONNE CHANCE, they are NOT one and the same though📗📙📘

And WHILE BON COURAGE is more commonly used to say 'GOOD LUCK' [or kind of 'HANG IN THERE'], it is used more to encourage someone facing that level of a difficult task OR challenge ahead WHERE their success, if at all, hinges on the efforts they would exert and of course on their resilience.  WHEREAS BONNE CHANCE literally means much closer to 'GOOD LUCK', LIKE leaving things to chance BUT let's put things into perspective here given the ocean of difference between BONNE CHANCE versus BON COURAGE.  If at all we need to utter either expressions, we need to be consciously aware of this huge difference💥💥💥

BON COURAGE also gets caught up in that unfortunate 'mix up' because while it generally connotes 'CHIN UP' and 'GOOD LUCK', the former sounds like that old-school English nurse implying that there's NO aspirin left BUT she's sure the pain will go away soon.  Meanwhile, that pitiful nurse gets fed up of all that whimpering.  On the other hand, 'GOOD LUCK' is amply covered by BONNE CHANCELIKE you would bet your whole bank account on your country's competitive sportsmen winning all the gold medals at the next Olympics.  BUT we're told that BON COURAGE does NOT have luck involved and instead, it is more emphatic than just sheer 'CHIN UP'💥💥💥

Swinging over to our lives, WHO wants to have BONNE CHANCE as their spiel versus BON COURAGE?  Sadly, some of us [and I do bear witness to many of those unfortunate circumstances] end up with more BONNE CHANCE moments than BON COURAGE.  WHICH is really pitiful because with the former, you and me will leave everything to chance, literally speaking.  WHEREAS with the latter, it is us, the efforts we exert, the focus we reinforce in that endeavor and our resilience, all rolled into one, will very likely influence and shape up the outcome and eventual result of one's pursuit.  To hell, this may sound pure semantics BUT it's our mindset that matters✅✅✅

Our takeaway:  Looking back the years and roads I did thread along, I can firmly claim that at the very least, fifty percent of the eventual outcome was heavily shaped and influenced by the extent of efforts exerted and resilience all rolled into one.  WHEREAS BONNE CHANCE?  Apologies but I'll bid adieu to it because that is a self-defeating mantra WHICH we should throw out the window ASAP please.  So, BONNE CHANCE VERSUS BON COURAGE, take a stand dude😀😀😀

A FINISHER Matters More Than A STARTER

YES, it's confession time.  In the past, I used to have a 'STARTING PROBLEM'.  During those times, I was tempted to start things sometimes off the cuff.  At times, all I needed was a catalyst that will trigger me to initiate something [regardless if that initiative will take a few minutes OR even donkey years to accomplish].  I have to admit that WHEN something excites me, it's like nothing can stop me from starting off something new.  And during those years, I thought I was good at it.  BUT A FINISHER Matters More Than A STARTER📗📙📘
Oh Oh, I DON'T want to go back to those years WHEN I was 'trigger happy' to start off practically anything OR everything that seems to excite me.  Those years, I can start so many things that in the end I'll even loose track of them.  I can get so excited about the ideas behind things that I want to just jump in and start.  And I did!!!
I can think of a handful of small projects that I've decided to start, often they are things that I'm making OR building.  I would go to the store and get supplies.  It's all so much fun UNTIL I get back and then realize HOW much work is ahead and HOW it may be really really hard work.  And if I was NOT careful then, I can end up doing so many things and NOT finishing them.  Now WHO says that STARTING things is unlimited?  NO sirrrrrrs.  STARTING has its LIMITS.  We can only have so many balls in the air at one time❎❎❎
And the downside of being good at taking initiatives is that you will [LIKELY] end up find yourself spread thinly across.  The thing is, the more you have going on, the less effective and invested you can be in any of those forays you get involved with.  SO HOW?  First off, we got to learn how to SAY NO [even to our own self].  And that is the hardest one for many of us.  That thril of starting can be fueled by endless possibilities that could come about💥💥💥
Our takeaway:  Let's go back to our drawing board and revisit how many ongoing initiatives you have at hand [as we speak now].  NEXT STEP?  Let those projects end.  And that is hard because surely you'd love that idea enough to start it.  And it's hard to see something that we care about [and die OR fail].  And it's equally hard because it forces us to confront our own LIMITS and instead admit that we are unable to do it all at once.  Instead, it forces us to see that starting things all the time is NOT sustainable OR effective.  YES dude, A FINISHER MATTERS MORE THAN A STARTER😃😃😃

Let's Start With Mini-mini Whiny Tiny Habits

We all heard about that 'BIG BANG' Theory of this universe and NOT surprisingly, a plurality of us do subscribe to that.  WHICH is NOT wrong BTW BUT for me, that reflects our human nature to go for something BIG, something MAJOR.  And IF and WHEN we need to change and improve our habits, much as we are aware of our frailties and 'chinks in our armor', we would at times aim for those 'BIG TIME' change of habits BUT WHAT's the risk for that approach?  It is that higher rate of probability that we will fail in those attempts WHEN the goal is quite lofty and sometimes aggressive💥💥💥

And ever since we all got hit with that dreadful Covid-19 Pandemic, from my viewfinder, I did witness that a good number of our population have hardly reached that 'full recovery' state in their daily lives.  I can feel exhaustion, NOT physically BUT mentally. A fatigue that NO amount of sleep can fix.  And I [wrongly] thought that all it takes is MORE sleep, LESS screen time and maybe meditation.  BUT at the end, I realized that those required MORE time, MORE willpower and many times, we need MORE of both💚💛💜
I realized one thing though and that is, making huge changes all at once would be daunting to most of us, if NOT to all [and I can attest that I've seen that NOT only to people close enough to me BUT even to my own self] WHEN we attempted one too many changes all in one fell swoop.  At that point of my realizations, I also realized that I was kind of clutching on straws so I went back to the drawing board and did my own list of changes I'd like to see coming to fruition in my life [and NOT just in my dreams akin to that figment of my endless imaginations!!!
WHAT was an eye-opener to me during those times WHEN I was kind of clutching on straws was that spiel from psychologists WHO claim that fear only motivates us for the short time and if it happens that one of the changes we want to make in our life is based on fear, we need to reposition it in a way such that it will lead us to think about the positive outcome instead of avoiding that dreaded negative outcome😡😡😡
Our takeaway:  Let us figure out the TINY HABITS WHICH we can adopt and move towards the bigger changes we do envision along the way.  And YES, make those TINY HABITS doable enough, and it has to be HABITS we can truly stick with, LIKE waking up every 5am to give us enough time to prepare for our daily routines, LIKE that 20-minute daily exercise as a bare minimum.  Bottomline here is that we are NOT in a competition BUT we need to retrain our brain and consistently change our HABITS for a week, for a month, for every month thereafter, building our own confidence and reinforcing and sustaining those short gains.  So, LET'S START WITH MINI-MINI WHINY TINY HABITS, dude???

When Mind, Body And Spirit Are Aligned?

This morning, a question was posed in Quora.com:  HOW FAR CAN WE GO?  Ane Christensen shared his/her insights.  He/she turned 80 this January 2025 and still works as a production designer. [DON'T GET HER WRONG.  SHE'S NOT WORKING FOR THE SAKE OF $$$$$$ BUT SIMPLY TO BE BUSY AND GET GOING].  To quote him/her further:  THERE'S REALLY NO SET AGE WHEN ONE CAN STOP WORKING AS LONG AS THE MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT ARE UP TO IT  AND ACTUALLY, WORK AND SOCIAL INTERACTION KEEPS US YOUNG, seriously.  I just CAN'T agree more on this WHEN MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT ARE ALIGNED💚💛💜

Years back, I had the rare opportunity to be invited by noted Life Coach Samira Gupta and I remember her differentiating and at the same time reinforcing the need for our MIND, BODY and SPIRIT to be aligned, as follows:
  • Our MIND represents our intentions and thoughts which shapes our communications and decision-making

  • Our BODY is the vessel that carries out these intentions, reflecting our inner state through gestures, posture and even facial expressions.
  • Our SOUL encompasses the very essence of WHO we are guiding our actions and reinforcing our core values
BUT before we end up  " SILO'ing' " our MIND, BODY and SPIRIT, let us NOT miss out the undeniable fact that we are one whole human being BUT on the condition that they are all in alignment although if someone WHO lives and breathes more via his intellect, such alignment may appear to be ambivalent OR ambitious in scope💥💥💥
The main message that keeps resonating across the landscapes is for us to shift our old paradigms and consider to start thinking anew to incorporate other methods of explanation that may enlighten ourselves at most.  One of the most popular best practices is getting into meditation because that helps to become the platform that will lead us to that certain 'elevation'.  Unfortunately, yoga was wrongly tagged by some quarters as another sect, another faith BUT it's NOT.  Instead, it reinforces the very foundations that will help us to shape as the human being we ought to be.  Look NO farther than those nightmarish experiences of American military personnel WHO just came back from deployments either in the vastness of Afghanistan OR Iraq😡😡😡
A sordid YET unbelievable first-hand narrative I heard is with regard an American WHO just came back from Afghanistan.  Since returning back to his family, his MIND, BODY and SPIRIT DIDN'T seem aligned at all.  He initially manifested behaviors that were either too irrational if NOT alarming until one day, he killed his whole family before killing himself for reasons only he himself would have brought to his grave.  Although this tragedy is an outlier of an American story, it has been happening [albeit with nary any publicity].  IF ONLY we can ensure our MIND, BODY and SPIRIT are always aligned😌😌😌

Passkeys Versus Passwords

NO sirrrrrs, for our thread today, we DON'T intend to host a 101 course for PASSKEYs vs PASSWORDs because I am NOT a security SME.  BUT I thought I could dip my hands into the cookie jar if only to raise a bit of awareness with regard the huge vulnerability of protecting our digital accounts via PASSWORDs.  I'm NOT claiming that I am NOT using PASSWORDs because till today, I do BUT WHAT I can share is that I am migrating, albeit on a piecemeal basis, my security protection from PASSWORDs to PASSKEYs.  We DON'T need to look farther than this table which plots the realistic turnaround time our passwords [based on character length] can be breached by hackers📗📙📘

Having given that context, I admit I am actively espousing our blogsite readers to please very SERIOUSLY consider leveraging on PASSKEYs in lieu of PASSWORDs.  Months back, I was a victim of my bank account's hacking BUT thanks to my pushy escalations reaching my bank's CEO, the bank reimbursed all my lost monies then.  BUT that does NOT shield me from future digital breaches❌❌❌

There are tons and tons of very compelling narratives proving that PASSKEYs are the runaway option in lieu of PASSWORDs but for simplicity, I pasted this simple table if only to increase our layman's awareness, hoping you can take concrete steps to veer away from PASSWORDs and move into PASSKEYs!!!

Besides that very troublesome and cumbersome way where we save/log our passwords [even in our smart phones, UNTIL one day, knock on wood, we even end up losing that smart phone, whew], the harsh reality here is that with the speed of technology, these hackers never sleep and they are very much 'in step' with technology, WHICH explains WHY tons and tons of PASSWORDs are getting hacked.  Just yesterday, my blogsite was inaccessible because Google proactively shielded it from an unwanted attack bu hackers trying to pry into my account.  Good grief they failed there, so my site is back😌😌😌

Our takeawayNOT to scare you out of your doors, please seriously consider all the UPSIDEs the PASSKEY offers and all the DOWNSIDEs these old school PASSWORDs have led us into these digital traps as I am encouraging that we be more preemptive and proactive before you end up as the next hacking victim, God forbid.  Unfortunately, these hackers never sleep.  YES please, consider PASSKEYs over PASSWORDs💥💥💥

Straight from my thought processes...
